Why?

For their first beauty centre in Spain, the customer wanted to create a modern and welcoming space that could provide a variety of different ambiences.

We designed a lighting scheme to suit the aesthetic and functional conditions of the space, giving each corner its own personality and harmonious lighting.

What?

Reception

A spectacular brass tube light fixture with transparent lampshades, suspended from the ceiling, welcomes visitors to the centre.

The lighting harmony in this area is enhanced using suspended cylinders in the waiting area and linear ceiling lights with anti-glare reflectors above the reception desk.

Treatment rooms

There are two distinct areas in the treatment rooms. First, a large brass-lacquered hoop light hangs as a striking feature above the desk. Then, the treatment area has recessed technical lighting to provide perfect illumination when performing treatments on the therapy table.

Waiting area

The waiting area has recessed perimeter LED lighting and an eye-catching central decorative light fixture similar to the one in reception. We used cylindrical brass wall lights in the corridor leading to the toilets.

Corridors

We left no corner randomly lit, and the corridors were no exception. We used semi-recessed downlights in a brass finish and recessed LED strips in the handrails to light the path through the centre.

Toilets

The toilets continue the same aesthetics as in the other areas. We installed two cylindrical brass pendant luminaires, a round recessed ceiling light and, above the washbasin countertop, recessed perimeter LED lighting.
