For its new office just a stone’s throw from A Coruña’s transatlantic dock, the Miramar cruise agency needed a range of audiovisual equipment and, most importantly, a front desk that gave a nod to cruise ships. Sutec. presented a proposal involving technological integration and audiovisual equipment. What? Replica ship A front desk designed and made to measure in the group’s workshop, and resembling a cruise ship in every detail. A personalised solution to welcome newly arrived passengers and make them feel informed and well looked after. Monitors with digital signage integrated into the table, with featured content to inspire action. To give the effect of water, the lower part of the desk was backlit with blue LED neon lighting by Casambi, which can be adjusted via a KNX controller to create different environments. Digital Signage We installed LED screens that passengers can interact with using a QR code or the keypad as they continue on their informative and promotional tour. All content is configurable using the content management platform specially created for Miramar Cruises. In the corridors, we used recessed luminaires to guide movement through the space, with round downlights installed in plasterboard walls and square panel downlights in false ceilings. Screens for collaborative work  We installed various screens in the work area, for internal use. In the operational area, we installed a screen to display information in real time. And in the meeting room, we installed a screen with a video camera and a device for sharing information from any PC. Denodo

Customer Where? When? Sector Why? Denodo wanted the latest videoconferencing and display technology to make it easy to connect between their offices and with their customers, no matter where they are in the world. We took care of providing the audiovisual solutions and integrating them into the various spaces in which we work: What? Data House We created an innovative, state-of-the-art meeting room. Equipped with a 98-inch screen connected to a Liveware matrix that can be used to connect both the internal team and external people using ClickShare or the more conventional matrix connections. Knowing that one of Denodo’s main requirements was to have cutting-edge devices for videoconferencing, we equipped the screen with an all-in-one webcam (camera, speakers and microphone) and installed two additional microphones at different locations on the table. We installed LED strips behind the acoustic panels on the walls, connected to a control system that can adjust the colour, creating a high-tech ambience. Circular boardroom  For this room, we looked for a simpler solution suited to the shape of the space. We installed two 55-inch screens, each equipped with a digital signage player, to display corporate materials. We configured them so the information was duplicated, displaying the same content on both screens simultaneously. However, they can also work independently of each other when connecting a device via ClickShare or HDMI input. Support room  We equipped this room, designed for videoconferencing and as a waiting area, with a 75-inch interactive touchscreen display with a much more intuitive system, to which equipment can be connected via ClickShare. We also included an all-in-one videoconferencing system, similar to the one in the Data House. Mosaic office  This was the last room we worked on for this project. In this smaller space, we opted for a simple but very functional solution. It has a 55-inch monitor with an ultra-thin mount integrated into the wall. As part of the project to completely refurbish the new office of the Santiago Health Research Institute, located within the teaching hospital, we were responsible for all the lighting and electrical wiring. We developed a bespoke project so that each room had the most appropriate lighting. What? In common areas, we integrated lighting into the wooden slats of the false ceiling using LED profile lighting. A suspended luminaire was chosen for the workstation area to improve visibility for employees. Garrigues Coruña

Customer Where? Where? Sector Why? As part of the complete refurbishment of the Garrigues office in A Coruña, different lighting and electrical installation needs arose. We developed a customised lighting and electrical project, considering how each space was going to be used and what work was going to be done. What? Adequate lighting for workstations.  Special luminaries were chosen for the bench, keeping in mind the high concentration work carried out at these workstations. Specifically, we installed an Exenia system in the false ceiling, with a modular profile and no adjustable frame. In the corridors, integrated into the same trackless system, we installed recessed dimmable spotlights that guide the way through the benches. Lighting in meeting rooms.  In the various meeting rooms, we chose suspended luminaries, centred over the table so the area where meetings happen takes centre stage. We installed dimmable spotlights to illuminate the rest of the room. Zona Franca Vigo

Customer Where? When? Sector Why? In a building that certainly stands out, the customer wanted something special to light the stairs that lead to all the floors. They therefore commissioned us to design a bespoke suspended luminaire. The most striking feature of this project was the fully tailor-made suspended luminaire for the stairwell of the three-storey staircase. What? Pendant luminaires The 160 spheres, each suspended by a super-thin, transparent cable and all from the same rosette, amaze everyone who visits the building. Customer WHERE? WHEN? Sector Why? Abanca contacted us to supply the audiovisual equipment for its boardroom. A 360-degree project for technology integrated in furniture. Concealable technology components. What? AV integration and videoconferencing system In the boardroom, we integrated motorisd retractable Arthur Holm screens, supplied by Albiral, into a completely custom-made table. in a completely custom-made table. We designed the table so that we could install and embed the motorised creens in it. “Shown” and “hidden” presets are controlled from a central control processor also programmed by our team, according to the customer’s needs.  We also installed a concealable and retractable microphone system at each seat in the boardroom for presentations and discussions. Discussion and translation system We also installed an audiovisual system for discussions and simultaneous translation in the boardroom, consisting of systems for recording, discussing, simultaneous interpreting, videoconferencing, collaborating, signal routing, and so on. This includes room monitors in addition to the monitors on the table itself. The Exafield Group, a market research company specialising in the healthcare sector, required integrated audiovisual solutions for a new research room, following completion of Estudio Alegria’s project. We provided bespoke audiovisual solutions, integrated into the space, to meet the client’s needs. What? Interview room A multilingual interview room, which required specialised equipment to cater for very specific needs. Streaming and interpreting systems for international broadcasting. A system for listening and viewing from outside the room without any loss of quality: camera, screens, soundbar, and microphones in the ceiling.  Centralised control on a tablet, and all systems physically integrated, so that no problems arise during the interviews. Getafe Footbal Club

Customer Where? When? Sector Why? Getafe Football Club needed a bespoke design for the AV and lighting solutions in its new corporate headquarters. Getafe Football Club needed a bespoke design for the AV and lighting solutions in its new corporate headquarters. What? Agora In this large space, we installed a 75-inch interactive screen with an external receiver for watching matches live, reviewing players’ moves and taking notes on them. However, the main feature in the agora is a custom-designed light fitting, inspired by the lines of a football pitch, which uses LED strip lighting to produce the different geometric shapes, creating a continuous light effect. Meeting rooms For videoconferences, we installed screens and a special videoconferencing bar in each of the rooms, designed to make virtual meetings more inclusive and immersive. This effect is rounded off with recessed lighting, with both LED strips in the custom-made furniture and downlights embedded in the ceilings. Management office Continuing the design concept, we chose lighting fixtures from high-end manufacturers for the management areas. Exclusively designed linear suspended luminaires were fitted longways above desks and circular luminaires above occasional meeting tables, complemented by LED strips in the specially designed furniture and recessed downlights in the ceilings. Corridors We installed a digital signage system using the platform supplied by our partner Nsign.tv, with two vertical 75-inch screens. We used cylindrical suspended luminaires to light the corridors, maintaining the industrial look and feel of the exposed surfaces. Lastly, we installed recessed downlights in the reception area and porcelain light fixtures with spherical bulbs in the waiting area. Open Space Bespoke light fittings were designed and manufactured for the operational work area, suspended above each workstation. Into these, we integrated the air-conditioning system, sound-absorbing panels and lighting for maximum comfort. Administration offices The lighting in each of the three administrative offices can be adjusted for optimal visual comfort of users. Santalucía Auditorium

Customer Where? When? Sector ¿Why? Santalucía Insurance wanted to turn its newly renovated and spacious auditorium into a modern, innovative space filled with technology. We implemented a fully bespoke audiovisual and lighting integration solution, tailor-made to the customer’s requirements – comfort, impact and flexibility – with everything controlled from a single control panel. ¿What? Stage The audiovisual installation features a high-resolution 4K LED screen, integrated into the panelling along the main wall. To display content on this screen, we installed a high-performance system that allows the various video sources in the auditorium to be easily controlled from the same point. All existing video sources can be fed into the Pulse 4K system using the various selectors, transmitters and receivers. We also equipped the space with fixed videoconferencing equipment, a multi-platform Mago Room solution, and robotic projectors with motion and zoom intensity control. Walls and stage skirting We installed 400 metres of LED strips between the sound-absorbing wall panels, organised into 17 control groups that provide myriad colour combinations to suit the desired staging and atmosphere. Sound The sound installation comprised a Midas M32 Live mixing desk in the technical booth, providing high-quality mixing and routing of the various audio signals and sources, which included a microphone system and several wireless discussion units. To provide sound for the space, we chose a sound system from our partner D&B, consisting of two 5D amplifiers, six ceiling-mounted loudspeakers and two ultra-compact subwoofers hidden under the LED screen. The system is also fitted with a QSC audio conference processor to manage the videoconferencing audio effectively, and a Pinanson Dante audio patch to provide an audio feed to journalists. We also installed a central control system to provide a user-friendly way of controlling all the equipment and the different staging effects in the auditorium using a tablet. Aisles and seats Each seat has power and USB sockets for connecting various devices and making presentations from any position in the auditorium. For the lighting, we installed spotlights between slats, with asymmetrical optics arranged lengthways for aisles and crossways for armchairs. This design involved custom-made furniture into which we integrated LED lighting of an appropriate specification. We also installed a 65-inch screen vertically on the outside of the space to display information about events in the auditorium, together with spotlights and a control system.
