Why?

For the renovation of this restaurant, and following the design brief, we proposed dimmable lighting with a range of different light levels to fit every situation.

We designed a lighting scheme tailored to the customer’s needs for the various spaces.

What?

Bar area

We used a flexible LED light fixture to accentuate the bar’s curved shape by projecting the light onto the ceiling.

To light the bar itself, we used low glare spotlights.

We integrated lighting into the shelves behind the bar to create an uplighting effect for the bottles on display.

Dining area entrance

The light distribution is linked to the architectural design of the room.

We used flexible light fixtures to follow the sinuous shapes of the pillars.

We also used recessed downlights with a focused light beam to provide more light for the tables.

Wine cellar

This project included custom-made refrigerated cabinets into which we integrated LED lighting of an appropriate specification.

Rear dining area

To make the dining area more spacious, we created a gallery-like wall with integrated, dimmable lighting.

We added a freestanding battery-operated lamp to each dining table to create a romantic and cosy atmosphere.

The dining area also has a small separate room in which we installed a decorative pendant luminaire made up of glass globes with different textures and finishes.

Toilets

The mirrors are specially designed so that the light projects outwards to form a halo around the perimeter. Recessed ceiling lights provide additional lighting.
